Dr. Jolene Webster
Meet Our Artistic Director
Dr. Jolene Webster brings a wealth of experience in choral conducting, music education, and church music ministry spanning more than three decades. She is currently Adjunct Professor of Music at the University of Texas Arlington teaching Choral and Vocal Pedagogy, Instructional Strategies, and is Supervisor of Music Education Clinical Teaching. Dr. Webster is Director of Music Ministries at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church, Fort Worth. She also serves as vice-president of the board of directors of Arts DFW where she co-chairs the grants committee. Additionally, Dr. Webster is a published author and a frequent clinician, adjudicator, presenter and guest conductor for music organizations.
She holds a Doctorate in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Wesleyan University; Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting; Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Religious Education. Her additional certifications include:
Lifetime All-level Music Texas Teacher Certification, and Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System Certification.
She was head choral director at Coppell High School for seventeen years, R.L. Paschal High School for five years, and served four years in central district administration before entering collegiate teaching.
