  • “When you have a diagnosis of dementia or are the care partner for a person with dementia, your world becomes smaller. Your opportunities for social engagement seem to become fewer and fewer. MMS provides a wonderful opportunity for people with dementia and their partners to come together with others on the same journey and enjoy some social interaction." The members are so warm and welcoming that everyone instantly feels at home."

    - Philip Olson -

  • "You don't just join MMS it joins you where you are and leads you through an hour and a half of fun every week.”

    - Philip Olson -

  • "And then there is music... It's hard to explain the sheer unadulterated joy that you see and experience when the group sings. Faces light up with magical smiles as we sing the old songs and remember happier times together. MMS is an oasis in the middle of the week that lightens the stress of our journey and leaves us looking forward to our next rehearsal."

    - Philip Olson -

  • "MMS is something we can do together, and I love the socialization as well."

    - Jette Marosfalvy -

  • "We have been coming to MMS for almost 1 1/2 years and love it. It gives my husband, Hans, an opportunity to both sing and socialize with a group of wonderful people."

    - Jette Marosfalvy -

  • "The time spent at Musical Memory Singers is the highlight of Harry's week. He wants every day to be Thursday. As a caregiver, I appreciate MMS because Harry can be his jocular self a little too loud and I know everyone understands."

    - Judy Liston -

  • "This is our 6th time to attend. The value for me is that my wife, Judy, leaves here with a much improved attitude. We appreciate all the time and effort that goes into producing this program!!"

    - Harley Bixler -

  • "It's exciting to see folks who can hardly remember their spouse's name remember and sing every word of these old songs. The joy in their faces when they can be normal again for a little while is wonderful."

    - Joseph Gay -
